The Management of Organizations Research Centre “CREGO – EA 7317”
The Management Research Center CREGO – EA 7317 is the research team in business and management science in Burgundy and Franche-Comté.
Its history goes way back to 1988. Throughout following decades, it federated researchers in business and management belonging to the Universities of Burgundy and Franche Comté. A partnership with the University of Upper Alsace in Mulhouse is starting in 2015.
The CREGO is linked with Doctoral School (ED) LISIT, Post Graduate School of the University of Burgundy covering humanities and social sciences, and, at the Graduate level, provides support for the Master’s degree « Research in business ».
The main research areas of the membres of CREGO are corporate governance & strategy, marketing, finance, human resource management and accounting.
Several cross disciplinary workgroups have emerged :
– Ethics, values and CSR Corporate Social Responsability (in French RSE)
– Marketing Management of Arts and Culture
– Management Non profit Organizations
– Management of small businesses (SMBs)
– Corporate Governance
In 2015, the Crego counts 51 professors and assistant professors and some 30 PhD students.
The Crego promotes management sciences research on regional, national and international scales, as it developed scientific partnerships with both French and foreign academic teams in various countries.
